Since 2013, Pristine Pet Care LLC has been proudly providing trusted, professional pet care services in the Iowa City area. As of August 1, 2026, we are not accepting new dog clients and are actively welcoming cat and small‑animal families needing one visit per day. As a small, family‑run team, we prioritize your pets’ health and safety every step of the way. Certified in pet first aid, CPR, and emergency preparedness, and fully insured, we’d love to learn more about your cat or small‑pet care needs.

Heidi

Heidi is the founder of Pristine Pet Care LLC, your go-to pet care expert since 2013 in Iowa City! With a background in animal welfare, criminal justice and business, Heidi blends over 15 years of experience with certifications in animal welfare, including Pet First Aid, CPR, Emergency Preparedness, and a Fear Free Shelter certification, ensuring your pets receive not only loving care but also reliable, professional, and trustworthy service. When she’s not treating your pets like royalty, she’s spending time with her rescue pup Diesel, or volunteering at the local animal shelter. Heidi’s also part of Humane World for Animals, sharing valuable resources for all things animal welfare.

Heidi’s partner in life and pet care, TJ brings a calm, steady presence to every visit. Animals pick up on his grounded energy, which makes him a natural fit for pets who are shy, sensitive, or slow to warm up. He’s comfortable working with all kinds of animals and adapts easily to whatever a household needs, from energetic play sessions to quiet companionship. TJ approaches each visit with patience, consistency, and genuine respect for every pet’s individual personality

Diana

Heidi’s best friend, Diana, helps keep Pristine Pet Care running smoothly across North Liberty, Tiffin, and Coralville, and she steps in for Iowa City visits when needed. She’s detail‑oriented, organized, and especially tuned in to the routines that matter most to cats and small animals. Diana makes sure every home is handled with consistency and care, and she brings a steady, thoughtful approach to each visit. She notices the small things, keeps schedules on track, and makes sure every pet’s day feels familiar and predictable.

SERVICES AND FEES

PET SITTING

Our pet-sitting service provides care for your pets in the comfort of their own home! Services include feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and administering medication if needed. For dogs, we also include a walk or potty break. Please note, we do not offer needle injections at this time.

$35.00 per visit

The final rate is based on location. Holiday and high-volume date fees may apply.

HOME CHECK

Heading out of town? We’re happy to drop by and keep an eye on your home!
We can bring in the mail, water your plants, take out the trash, and help give your space that “someone’s home” feel while you're away.
